Florida Law Firm Enhances Service Levels with WinScribe Digital Dictation

With 9 transcriptionists working across 2 offices, it was important to find a solution that would allow case notes to be turned around much faster and was more efficient and reliable than their current system. "We had been using an analog tape system for about 15 years. The main problem with using this system was that tapes were constantly being lost or they broke, causing major delays," said Office Manager, Kim Behn.

They demonstrated the whole process while installing the system at each station and any questions were answered straight away!"

Transcriptionists and attorneys have been very impressed with the WinScribe system. They can for example now see the status of jobs, and re-route them to available resource during busy periods.

"Everyone has really embraced using WinScribe. User satisfaction is high, it's very easy to use and it has some really great features. It's nice to be able to see which jobs are still outstanding and it allows the administrator to delegate jobs when necessary," Kim said. "Overall the main benefit for us is much shorter turn-around times and every job is traceable so they can't get lost in the system. In addition, there are cost savings associated with no longer paying out for tapes and servicing old machines!"
