Phoenix Worldwide Industries, Inc. offers Rapidly Deployable, Mobile Surveillance Platform for Facilities Security and Law Enforcement Agencies
Miami, FL (PRWEB) June 17, 2008 -- Phoenix Worldwide Industries, Inc.®, a 25 year-old Miami-based manufacturer of specialty mobile vehicles/platforms used for homeland security, surveillance, detection and perimeter/border protection, has introduced a rapidly deployable, intelligent surveillance platform targeted toward municipalities, law enforcement and certified security organizations for greater surveillance of community events or high crime areas.
The rapidly deployable, Urban Watch Mobile Surveillance Platform (UWMSP) is configured in a custom designed, fiberglass enclosure that resembles a camper top used on standard flat bed pick up trucks. Phoenix has designed several enclosures that can accommodate a variety of high-tech surveillance and detection equipment for use as a mobile Command and Control platform as well as other designs.
These customizable platforms can be deployed on standard US or Foreign built pickup trucks ? easily loaded in minutes onto the flatbed of a pick-up truck. The UWMSP can provide around-the-clock, unmanned surveillance for any site along with wireless mesh networking for video surveillance (www.PhoenixIVS.com) communication requirements.
The UWMSP is configured by Phoenix IVS with a retractable 60 foot mast that holds a Pan-Tilt-Zoom mega-pixel camera for high resolution surveillance at a distance of up to one mile in any direction over a 360° area. In addition, four Day Night cameras accompany the mega-pixel PTZ camera at the top of the mast to provide 360° fixed view, 24 X 7 unmanned, detection enabled through the use of Phoenix IVS?s Intelligent Video Surveillance (www.PhoenixIVS.com) (IVS) analytics. All systems in the platform support video recording, monitoring, communication and control. In total, the UWMSP can be outfitted with up to 14 intelligent video enabled cameras consisting of Day Night, Low Light or thermal/IR cameras.
In addition to the mast-attached and in-vehicle video surveillance camera systems, Phoenix IVS?s Mobile Intelligent Video Surveillance (MIVS?) systems, consisting of either wireless mesh-networked, Intelligent Video Cameras (IVC?) or its 3G cellular networked Intelligent Video Cameras, can be optionally equipped in the UWMSP.
These mobile surveillance (www.PhoenixIVS.com) systems can be quickly and easily deployed from rugged Pelican cases, stored in the UWMSP, and then set up on roof tops, utility poles or tripods for temporary surveillance. Using Phoenix IVS analytics, security alerts can be automatically generated from the portable, intelligent cameras back to the UWMSP or any patrolling officers over the Wireless Mesh or 3G cellular network improving the effectiveness of the overall security at that event.
